Eyes of the Beholder May 14 2008

Through the eyes of the beholder,
so much truth you can see.
Look deep enough, imagine the images that replay over and over again,
that is the truth of me.

Sadness, anger, sorrow and pain,
so many emotion bottled up inside my head.
Can you feel what I feel? Do you see what I see?
How hard have you tried.

Insanity flows through my body,
filling up every vein and vessel that keeps me alive.
Alive as I can be I suppose, struggling from day to day,
just to survive

Hi Priscilla. This is a beautifully written poem, full of emotion.even though the feelings expressed are unhappy ones.If this is your pain that you are showing us then I am sorry you feel this way.But either way you have the gift of poetry writing and what better way to release your feelings than among friends. We can not only appreciate your gift, but also if needed show that we care so you can bring back joy to your life.Take care and please keep on writing. Love June(S)

it is as you say; in the eye of the beholder. but flowing from lips and pens are the truths we see. if you can read you can see it with me. deep in side we are all the same. some hurt emotionally and others maimed. we se vetrans returning with missing arms and legs. yet here on the soup we see the terribly misslead. robbed of feelings that they too should have. but in the war zone bombs dismember parents lovers children orphans widows the ugly and unloved. we express our selves as God gives 2 us
