Eyes of a Poet
Gazing into the eyes
Can see it hold stories untold
Some told and old
Many memorized
No one would understand
Looking through the eyes
Seen things you wouldn't believe
And hard to recieve
Tell of things
Far beyond seen
In rythem and rhymes
Feeling as if this poet
Been here before
Passing through time
Reading the minds
Through the eyes window to the soul
Mixed in emotions
Wanting to cry but dosent know why
Confusion sets in
Reading between lines
Wondering what do you find
In the eyes of a poet?
