EYES OF A CHILD
Gifted a universe life with soulful eyes,
with a life to learn,
of each new day,
in time to burn.
So innocent and pure,
for a future to endure,
needing love and hope,
in a wild, wonderous world to cope.
Please see beyond my eyes,
this soul begins to search and feel,
that care and love is real,
so simple, for a cute smiling dimple.
Love me as I am,
born with God's diagram,
and please take part,
as my memories start.
Be my guiding light,
in life's darkness for sight,
keep me smiling glad,
when the world may seem sad.
May we share our devotion,
and many colours of emotion,
in a world so wonderous and wild,
from the eyes of a child.
