Eyes

I loved you from the moment I first looked
Into your big, brown eyes and saw myself.

I saw all the pain and all the loneliness
More loneliness than anyone should have
to endure.

You've been gone a long time now,
But when I get lonely, I close my eyes
And I can see those big brown eyes, and
Your smile.

And I'm not lonely anymore
Because I know you will always live
In my memories.

You have a strong imagination with this write. I see you haven't written anything here in a while.
