I bought her a valley of flowers
Expressing her exquisite beauty
I bought her a factory of chocolates
Expressing my assembled desires
I bought her an extra large diamond
Expressing mine devotion

As the dusk turned to daylight
The newspapers vendors out on the corner shouted!
Extra extra
Read all about it!

The phone rang
Her sweet voice filled my heart
She said in her seductive melodic whisper
Extra extra read olive about it
I lied!

Was Charma right? That she lied about the virgin part! I really enjoyed this one, ARthur. Thanks so much for seeing my poems yesterday. I am always so busy these days!! CAn't seem to keep caught up.

Oh She was no virgin at all : )..I.dnt know if I got it...Oh becareful to whom one gives his flowers, chocolates and diamonds,more and more to whom one gives his heart .

Flowers, diamonds and chocolates can be replaced, a wounded heart sometimes never recovers. :(
