Expiry Date

Look at this darn marriage certificate,
A piece of paper that has sealed our fate,
If packed things can’t stay fresh,
So does mind, human flesh,
But still I see no such expiry date!

Poet’s note: Seeing her husband pouring over a piece of marriage certificate, she asks if anything was wrong.

By oversight this limerick is repeated (though with differing text), the earlier one dated 03.03.15.
