Existence of Our Life

They say it burns like a fire
Though it can make you as cold as ice

Dedication to ones endeavours
Leaves little room for a normal life

Perhaps some find peace in its manner?
Perhaps some can’t help change their minds?

Questions that are silent but remain loudly spoken in the corners of our minds

Where does the balance of life find meaning?
When do the colours of our dreams fade into the night?

Do we ever stop believing that tomorrow will bring a reasoning for how we live our flawed lives?

Do we hold on to our feelings no matter what the cost in wrong and right?

Is conviction a path misleading or do we force a way to find some kind of meaning for the existence of our life?

Feelings and convictions. I believe most of us hold on tightly to both.
