Exhaling

A slice of skin
let's begin
the journey
journeying
where the mind may be
at rest
peace in time
time with mind
never concludes
properly
I've never been
a proper person
all that is right
is there a slight chance?
before I explode I exhale.

Riveting with strong, emotional content... again, your final line is most effective. (suggestion: 'let me' instead of 'let's' in your second line, since it's a first person poem) Best wishes, Keith
