A lot of hurtful things Said that night In what was to be Only Discovery We pucked honesty And talked toilet truth Somehow we tried To execute the universe Our soul’s purpose to live In life, in the present Not the future or the past Here on earth, I too, am learning the balancing act There’s no pretending That either one of us know What the universe has in store The only truth that lies between Is the soul’s connection, Blessed to you and me Somewhere our egos A stepping stone along the way We are two different people And like no one else In this world today There’s no game or manipulation To make each believe We both have a mind and connection To our spiritual balance And personal creed Happiness can create Those boundaries we make To emotional magnetism That happens on fate Here in front of you, With no agenda, In Mind, Body and Soul No question of promise For either one of us to behold We’re not here to plan the Future, Nor question of past Only discover lifetime connections And may we always laugh We’ll not control The even flow I’m sure a day will come And you will see This person with no agenda, Evolving eternally
