Thus, shall I ponder the convolutions Of our present state of devolution While consuming a new solution To the contradictions of evolution Surrounded by the walking dead Earphones screaming in their head Blue light failure their sole dread While others fight for green edged bread Perhaps we’re in a downward spiral With our destruction going viral Condemned it seems by judgeless trial Because our thoughts are now on file Thus, do the mad men mock each other Enslave their cousin’s sisters brother

Wow, you hit a lot of social conditions in a short time. The colors also reflects an interesting contrast. Something to think about. Not too many of us write about these things in such a direct fashion. I admire that.

Powerful write. I was watching this new movie on netflix … julia roberts in it. Made me think so deep so this poem kind of got me thinking… love it. So much has been said in such brilliant rhymes. Especially love the ending

That last line is a classic. I certainly don't accept macro evolution but the current state of affairs has me scratching my head. How much longer will things be this way? Train wreck ahead...

Humans have been on a downward spiral since the beginning of time... maybe we are a failed experiment and the aliens have given up.. Great rhymes.
