Evil among us
People see evil as the devil
Evil is among us every day
The walk down the street next to you
Sit behind you on the bus
Go to the same church as you
Love under the same roof
Evil can be young or old
Rich or poor
Any gender
Brother or sister
Aunty or uncle
Mother or father
They hid in plain sight
They do noble jobs
Volunteer for charities
They don’t always have kill or attack
Narcissists are everywhere
They gaslight you
Manipulate you
And do the cruelest things
A danger to us all
Are we too relaxed in today’s society?
