Everything To Hide
Just because I cannot have you
Doesn't mean I cannot love you
There are many things in life that may not be
But if there ever was
A chance to be your love
I'd want for you to think me righteously
Oh I do have my moments
Where I want to be beside you
And I just want to tell you to your face
How much I really love you
How much I do think of you
And that I've known this love no other place
Yet even unrequited
I still do not feel slighted
By loving you my character has grown
And writing poetry
Helps get it out of me
With reticence I walk this road alone
