Everything Happens For the Good

WHEN I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO MISS
I REALLY FELT THE PISS

IN THE MIDST OF THE RAIN
SOMETHING MUST EASE THE PAIN

THE JOY OF THE SUN
IS NOT HOW LONG WE RUN

BUT IF THE MOON SHOULD COME IN THE DAY
WE WOUILD HAVE SO MANY THINGS TO SAY

THE GREATNESS OF THE HEART IS MEARSURE
BY EVERY PLEASURE OF OUR ART

SO IF THE HEART IS TO GIVE
ITS POWER MUST ALSO FORGIVE

LIFE IS LIKE A WALKING STAKE
SO WHERE IT DRIVES US TO
WE MUST HAVE THE COURAGE TO TAKE

IT IS NOT HOW STRONG WE STAND
BUT HOW WELL WE UNDERSTAND

REGARDLESS OF OUR SITUATION
THERE IS ONLY ONE REMEDY TO OUR CONDITION

EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR OUR OWN GOOD

Keep the faith. Good write. I would only add that "how well we understand" often predicts "how strong we stand." Just a different nuance; not any disagreement. Like this whole positive karma energy you have goin on. Gerald Oliver
