Notes About The Poem

Everyday, In Every Way - 2

Everyday, I need to pray For God’s will to lead me through Color my thoughts in hues of Kindness, hope, generosity Breathe laughter and light Through my spirit, embracing With whispers of gentleness Caressing my heart with such Amazing tenderness – It could Only be given by a God so alive He fills up my soul and shines His Love on the inside, sparkling With excitement and insight Everyday, I need to say God, I love You. I hear what you say I’ll listen to Your truth raining down From the heavens, where You are living A light filling up every soul who believes That You are here inside, where You Will never leave – You’re forever Aware of my needs and fulfilling my Every desire with Your holy fire Your kindness and grace, Your understanding The goodness that is Your nature! Everyday, I need a way To give back to You, my eternal hope, The One who answers all my prayers The One who quiets my fears The One who wipes away my tears The One who builds a bridge of faith Between my heart and Your everlasting Grace, Your love and peace, Your joy And the wonder of Your gift to me The Gift of a Savior who made a way For me to speak to You, my God The One who gives my heart a home The One who lets me know I’m never alone The One who is the answer to my prayers The One who is life to my heart and soul Everyday, in every way, I need to say I love You, God, and I’ll always need You To fill my life with Your kindness and spirit, Your complete peace and penetrating joy Thank You, God… for all that You’ve given me
