Every Single One

I laugh a lot
I cry a lot
I get mad a lot
I get surprised a lot

I'm a person of mixed emotion
It's not like I can help it
I try hard to stop it
But it just doesn't stop

I'm a teenager
Things just get jumbled up
My mind doesn't work
The way it's supposed to

My brain doesn't understand
Half of the things
I go through everyday
It just doesn't make sense

But I guess
Every single one of us
Has to go through this stage
At some time or another
