Every Second, Hour Forever
Though love is cut deep in stone forever,
you will be with me till my closing sigh;
such promise- your demise will not sever,
so, I will not utter the word goodbye.
Our first sweet kiss left this girl quite wondrous,
oh, your deep strong voice- music for my soul;
within me loud throbbing, drumming thundrous,
I knew without you I could not be whole.
So, I will hold our deep love evermore
oh, I whispered this promise to your tomb;
now, nightly the ink night skies- we explore,
you exist in soft hues of twilight gloom.
This love torments my every living hour
oh, grief in the end- will my soul devour.
