Every Now and Then You Come To Me
Every now and then you come to me
A starlit voyager upon a late winter eve
A solitary knight riding through winds
'neath soft soaking rain
You wear my heart on your sleeve
Every now and then you come to me
to these silent halls of my daring arms
you whisk me off my feet
We share our first intimate dance
face to face with a sweet sour faith
of a forbidden release
Every now and then you come to me
like pearls of settled dew covering my hair
Your fingers weave threads of emotion
as you whisper forgotten promises in my ear
Every now and then you come to me
Like hot showers of wild fire
burning a thousand kiss
a thousand kiss still trailing
on the bare glow of my hips
Every now and then you come to me
an evanescent moment of stolen bliss
a leaning shadow beside my pillow
A slipping thought touching my lips
