Every Dog

I’m not the sort of person who Gets angry far too quickly I’ll smile politely, nod my head Agree and be quite sickly I will not be controversial Not shout or yell or scream or Not argue, but explain myself In a calm relaxed demeanour So please be understanding Don’t think because I’m meek I’ll put up with your flannel It doesn’t mean I’m weak So, should I lose my temper You’d best get out my way ‘cos I won’t restrain my anger And, this dog will have his day © 30-01-2009

Hey, John, I do believe we are two peas in a pod! It takes a lot to get me angry and the only time I raise my voice is when I'm watching football or reeling in a big fish. This is a very interesting poem; guess we all figure out our own best way to deal with anger. Great work! Love, Carolyn
