Evermore

A ballad of fate
Dwelling in floods and eddies of time
Floating off to forever with death's kiss
A sun dance as darkness permeates
This tumultuous storm of acid rain
Drenching my thoughts
A punctuation of my dreams.

I have lived yesterday
With ecstatic euphoria of impromptus
Burrowed deep through me
A grip of golden rays in Spring
Mellifluous verse a place of my refuge
And then, and only then a panacea of all time
Felicity of your words bring me to light.
