Evergreens, Evergreens

Evergreens? Evergreens!

In winter,
Windswept debris:
Blue bags, brown paper,
And white string.
Cling to city trees,
Evergreens?

In spring,
Buds bloom to Leaves,
Greening over,
Windswept debris:
Blue bags, brown paper,
and white string.
Evergreens!
