Everchanging

To remember, to forget. Believing we have choice. But our desire unmet, reveals a silent voice. Joyful moments, times of great pain. Everchanging sentiments, we lose, we gain. Love that is true, sadly turns to hate. Whatever we knew, we now speculate. A memory to hold near, or to throw away. Those found dear, we freely display. Tears that we cry, the laughter we share. Saying goodbye, always being there. Holding on, letting go, our emotions, denied. Fate, veiled in shadow, will ultimately decide.

Thank you Heidi. Emotions can go in every direction all at the same time.

Another of you fine poems, Sandra. Hard to hide emotions for very long, That's for sure. You have pretty much summed up my life and many others too. One thing one must always remember. Everything changes, including people, and change is unpredictable. I love this one, Sandra. Be well:)

My mother used to say, everything changes, but change itself. Thank you Daniel. Emotions, conflicting so much of the time, can be exhausting.
