Ever wonder if rats
Wonder about
Why they are so disliked

Or why we care
Where the rain falls
In Spain

Pondered questions
Such as 

How many….
Of anything
Are in the jar

Answer is always
                          ……All of them

Ever wander
Into a conversation
                               ….Unprepared

Shuffle through
The yellowed pages
Of a younger poets
                                 …………dreams
