Eventually

do I need to stand for my beliefs
do I dare shed more of the lingering grief
my thoughts are taken prisoner
my dearest of all attributes
is the listener
I impart myself and inject my needs into you
and implore your assistance in this battle
for I feel I am slipping away from me
I no longer know what side to cheer for
I forget myself again so very easily
and all of this bickering in my head
will come to a head
and I shall stand for my beliefs
eventually
