Eventide Strolled Down the Hills

Dolefully the eventide strolled Down the hills leaving Scintilla of hues on horizon Then yielding to night's decree owls hooted in unison Forlorn fowls sought refuge in groves, Stray dogs tired of full day's gambolling searched for shelter, Gophers still sauntered in far off farms Groping for grains unaware of the wild cats Awaiting them in perfidious furrows- A lone beggar on footpath ate crumbs of bread He got in alms Thus the busy day Its varied opulance In night's loving lap did lay
