Evening
another day passes
light fading
darkness slowly
pushing the last rays
beyond the orbs curve
and night arrives
unchallenged
warmth and heat
remain
undminished
yet longly lingering
sightless shimmering
absent the sun
disappeared
a lightly blowing
breeze gently
stirs the grass
the leaves
passing without
judgement or
comment
appearing in reverse
tomorrow
will come
old or new
repeated ritual
does what it does
as is replaces was
