Evenfall

Purple smile
Of mauve evening
Kisses
Magenta sky,

Arousing passions
On hushed arc,
Courting
Evenfall.

Sun dips
In ocean,
Ceding to
Moon’s quixotic reign.

Bird songs romanticize
Night’s
Rendezvous with stars.
