Even Once In a Blue Moon

The moon had never been blue-colored, Ever and never would it be; For it's not alone in the night, Shining stars above make it happy. Look at the moving clouds up high, As you slowly walk beneath the moon; Images change constantly in the air, With amazing forms from each direction. Even the powerful golden sun, Though invisible after daytime; The blazing rays of its energy Make the full moon sublime. Then we must be joyful and glad, For we know the one and only true God - The Father alone who's spirit in nature, Or without bones, flesh and blood. The Lord provides all that we need, The food, drinks, clothes, and shelter; Health, wisdom, family and friends, Yes, even the breath of fresh air. If the world's weight is on your shoulder, God's helping hand shall carry you; As the clouds turning from bright to gray, You shall be taken out of the blue. If the new moon moves the tide too high, The Savior shall lift you up in the sky; And if the sun shall let the rivers run dry, In heaven, you'll never thirst and cry. Don't stop to follow God's statutes, Wash the red blood stain in your hand; Though we're free to make our choices, We've no green light to break his command. As we wait for the new dawn, And the Lord is coming so soon; Seldom sad, waste not salvation, Even once in a blue moon.
