Even If I Die the Child In Me Would Be Alive

How much you may think me to be Gullible and Naïve As long as the child in me Does survive I am alive. My dreams may fly high But my ambitions never touch the sky To my heart’s content I may smile and I may cry Into my own life I may peek and pry I can sleep solemnly to the tunes of a lullaby As long as the child in me Does survive I am alive. On a green grassy carpet I may peacefully lie From the world full of deceit and tyranny I may frantically shy I may reach the age to naturally die And to bid the world a final goodbye But as long as the child in me Does survive I am alive.
