Even a Stranger
When saturated gloom continues to climb
and refuses to detach its parasitic rhyme,
we can be consumed with need for touch.
Even a stranger's smile can mean so much.
When darkness swallows our totality
and invisible pain evokes its brutal,
we can be consumed with need for touch.
Even a stranger's smile can mean so much.
When our internal and mind disconnect
and fulfillment is no longer even a concept,
we can be consumed with need for touch.
Even a stranger's smile can mean so much.
No matter the depth of depression's bleed
even a stranger's eyes can help it recede.
