Eulogy for a bird

I step outside of the door.
Having no place to look at the sky;quietly.
Having no time to think.
Imagining the world without any crowd, Will it feel lonely?

Rather than feeling lonely, I was glad thinking that even for a brief moment I could be happy.
Without any warning I'm reminded of all the elusive dreams and the sea that will never be filled with water in this lifetime.

I reach the point of my race.

The ephemeral clouds above me starts running away.

And today again I'm reminded by them;

You're transparent

You're transparent

You're transparent.

Hello Aurora. Thank you for entering the contest. I felt a depth to this and although I said about the five main senses, emotion is a sense we have too. And I felt the emotion of your poem. It is beautiful. :-)
