Eulogy

Eulogy

Good to the core,
regardless of things that went before.
The kind of a man
who'd lend you a helping hand.
When he smiled he let the sunshine in
and you knew he was a friend.
He had his faults as we all do
but his were far between and few.
Staying positive was his motto,
believing in God his faith,
and he was loved by all who knew him.
May he now always rest in peace.

My condolences! You wrote a gorgeous eulogy. It was from the heart and beautifully poetic. Lots Of Love, armand.

Very heart felt, was this about someone special?

Yes, Arthur. It was about my ex-husband, the same person for whom I wrote "Aqua Sky". We were going to re-marry before he took ill. I knew I would probably never see him alive again. We had the funeral today and I read the poem.

Thank you Christy. Do you have an old relative named Ray Stover?
