Ether-Bound -Anacreontic Verse

Ether-bound, into the blue I’m flying with his hand clasped in mine. Is this a dream? Underneath us earth is growing small. But up and up - wondrously we lift! Above a mound of clouds we drift. A glorious haze of stillness envelops us - sweet tranquility. I turn to see his eyes so tender - mirroring mine. Suddenly, a sharp shrill sound splits the silence most profound. The clouds vanish. I lose his hand as I reach toward the alarm clock. Sadly, yes, it was but a dream. Great, absolutely great Andrea - it sounded and felt so beautiful as I read it I was travelling with you, but dreams are dreams and they forcefully bring us back to reality with an alarm clock. Good luck Andrea my friend. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

I just loved this Andrea... you have taken us through your journey in dream... some lines I admire... ' his eyes so tender, mirroring mine'... I still remember the different strange dreams I used to have in deep sleep... I hope this will place high... Sad that I missed writing for this contest... Now it's late... Hugs.. ~ Ani

Dream or not --being on the clouds, flying with love is a trip to behold, Andrea. Sadly you lost his hand.

I loved your vision of flying in this wonderful entry Andrea. I bet it does well. I’ve had dreams like this where I rose up so high I could actually see the entire earth below me. Time to say good night. Blessings xxoo
