Etheral Empress -

Inspired by the Bridal painting of the Empress Elisabeth of the 19th century Austro-Hungarian Empire - Elegance, strength as elegance, elegance of spirit personified as if this extraordinary elegance was born to be, beyond the devestation of mortals, so far outside the boundries of the base & banal ravishings prevelant within peoples' passions and purposes, escaping expectations of equality, graciousness was alive within her like a landscape loved & leavened by a monogamous moonlight, ebony overcome by the invigoration of ivory, realising that genuine grace is a monument of courage confronting chaos, crystallised composure, she being a template and temple for hopefuls, in all my experience I have witnessed no woman more ready for power, more savoring for sacrafice, more able to abate avarice & acrimony, Elisabeth, the emerald of an Empire, Mother to minions, mistress of the misery & magnificence of the multitudes, Master of the stout & savant, such precocious puissance of personality, regal resilience, my imagination renders eagles delivering sustenance to her, bees bringing heavenscent - J.A.B.

Instead of sending images of microscopes and smiley faces NASA should send out into the constellations the image of Elisabeth. Let the ETs. view her and what she represents before engaging with us. I can see your constellation in my dreams Linda. J.A.B.

A wonderful tribute to this beautiful Empress, Justin. She had "referred to herself as Titania, Shakespeare's Fairy Queen", I believe that had been an accurate summary of herself.:) An avant garde Lady whom you've described with such passionate respect. Great couplet to end this write! Best wishes, love, Mikki

I'm very glad you appreciate Her as much as I do Mikki - Her portrait is just breathtaking! I do not know much about this Elisabeth, I am intrigued by your quote of her's,is that true? I'll investigate this Titania - I thank you for your love, I need it - J.A.B. %

Justin, I really like this. For me it’s an elegant inspiration of what we have learned about high conflict paintings, through out the years. You offers a nice language within your distinguished poem. I love the way you took the landscape and involved it with high conflict of power. It is like the painting is looking through her eyes herself..A mastery witnessed off of her precious identity .. Like you said at the end.. HEAVEN-SCENT.. ~always~ PD

Your analysis is stuningly unique PD., regarding in particular high conflict in art,in power - I'm certain that Henry Kissenger would value this appraisal just as much as I do my Sphinx - I'm thankful for your attention as always - J.A.B. %
