Eternity Beckons

You are nearer eternity than ever From where people go back never Every thought of eternity is of great necessity For on it rests the ultimate destiny of humanity Every choice you make strikes an eternal string As when the farmer's acts are weighed in the spring Your life on earth is never spent in the dark As eternity will soon bring out its true mark As you greatly desire to be affluent Don't forget eternity is imminent The world may approve your actions to be good Eternity will soon appear to remove their hood You are daily walking towards the other side of the planet Like an object that is at the mercy of a magnet In a jiffy you will be off the scene And you will depart never to be seen In eternity you will appear to receive the Father's embrace Or to face the judgement which leads to eternal disgrace
