Eternal Spirit
Love came by with an open heart.
Gave to me an amazing start.
Awaken anew with wonder of love.
My Father created me like a spirited dove.
Joy sprang forth like a cold gushing spring.
I ran and flew about, taking life in as I sing.
Amazing beauty of our mother envelopes me.
Holding me tenderly as she bounced me on her knee.
Sorrow and sadness came across mother and father’s eyes.
They told me that I must go to Gaia as I wondered why.
You will not remember us as you are given in birth.
But another father and mother will give you more love on this Earth.
You live through many painful struggles and strife.
Also you reap joyful Love of this magical life.
Please be still my child in times of your unimaginable pain.
I will rush to your side giving loving comfort and I will never wain.
I will joyfully watch as you grow deep in your spiritual soul.
We will whisper when it is your time to come home.
Life is a growing chrysalis on an old oak tree.
We will part from this life as a beautiful butterfly, so free.
Now my mother and father know of my life’s story.
I will fly in loving Joy giving them glory.
