Eternal Source: A Prayer To The Triune God
Prologue
Eternal Father, Source of Creation,
In whose perfect garden mere dust
---made living by holy inspiration---
Received a sacred duty in trust.
The Fall
Eternal Father, Source of Life,
Whose Command betrayed begot the fruits
--Of daily strife.
We pray now, to endure our suffering test.
The First Command
Eternal Father, Source of Truth
On whose steadfast Word we stake
--Our proof.
We pray now, accept our love professed.
Salvation
Eternal Father, Source of Grace,
Whose Son Beloved was sent to take
--Our place.
We pray now, our faith in Him assuage Your wrath.
The Second Command
Eternal Father, Source of Love,
Whose in-dwelt Spirit seeks Mercy
--All else above.
We pray now, to walk our neighbor’s path.
