Eternal Moments

There are feelings so deep they defy expression
There is ecstasy so profound it obliterates all else
There is love so strong it renders the lover invincible
There is contentment so sweet it deluges the soul
There is passion so fierce it demands obeisance
There are moments in time that are timeless
These are eternal moments…
When all these things are enchanted
When the mystery of life is discerned
When there is no desire for tomorrow
And no regret about yesterday
When being in that moment is all the matters…
I’ve lived these moments…
While whispering a prayer
While singing a lullaby
While observing the stars
While feeling the wind in my hair
While being in the throes of love
I’ve tasted eternity…
I’ve lived….
I’ve loved….
I’ve cherished…
These eternal moments!

I love this one..."There are feelings so deep they defy expression"...so true..."When there is no desire for tomorrow And no regret about yesterday"..this poem helps one recall the eternal moments in their own life.
