Notes About The Poem

The Everlasting Importance of Christ's ...

Eternal Life

I’ve heard others talking as if He were dead,
But He rose to give life to others instead.
I’m only one, small it may seem,
But He died and He rose my life to redeem.

And likewise, for you He was crucified,
Don’t make it for naught that He died.
Accept His offer, redemption of sin,
And the Spirit He left us will live within.

For He arose, a place to prepare,
He went ahead until we get there.
Eternity awaits us, to praise His name,
Through Jesus our Savior we stake our claim.

The Father has blessed us by giving His Son,
Over Satan and evil our God has won.
