Eternal Dream

When I begin to meditate About the life before now And the life that is due to prevail Deep in this thought I heard calls from no where Chanting into my ears A note of warning “Don’t let the trees surrounding This wide fence fall” Amid this puzzling call I unearth from a far Mix voices flaunting a goal “We will not sheathe our swords Until all our desires come to pass” In between these dilemma I inquire On whose command will lives live? 20/6/2013

Powerful! Very cryptic and makes you think. I've oftentimes thought the same... who has the right to say who lives and who dies? Or whether or not the war was just. This can be taken a lot of different ways. I apologize if I've seemed neglectful lately. I've been very busy with my second job and haven't had a lot of time for the Soup. Hope you will forgive me... lol.

Therefore, one will not be wrong if one call this piece tribute to the mortal souls.Cos whether one like it or not. All our desires will never be met till we will meet our death (that's on the doom's day). That one is very certain.

If any one need to apologize, I think I should be. It isn't my wish to not be often on Soup like the way I used to be but the nature of my course has kept me very busy. On 20th this month that I even planned to come online and relate.. the death of a friend touched me to the marrow. I'm just recovering from the shock. He is an inspiration to this poem.
