Notes About The Poem

Written August 9 2026 after my painting class. Not for contest

Etegami

Envy for this emerald style
Throwing paint with heart of child
Even with imperfect stroke
Giving a beauty of hazel hope
Amethyst heart for Japanese art
Made in class as enchanting start
I’m an etegami student painting star

You are really good at art! I didn’t enter this one in a contest. And my art is really not that good lol! I’ve only done fruit and attempted a flower and angel. I wouldn’t know how to post it anyway 😂. Thanks for reading and honored you fav.

You are very talented, Karen. This is impressive since it is one of the more challenging forms when it comes to effectively making a poem come to life. Additionally, you did it with such a unique word.
