Et

E.T.

You came to us from afar
You were a fantasy of someone's mind
He made you come from a star
But know you are a reality in our minds

 You are short & ugly
Yet your big eyes are loving and caring
You have big feet and you're green
Yet all could laugh and cry for you in happiness

So I'm wondering why people hate you
 I'm short, but I think I'm cute
I have big feet put me down and call me names
You see, E.T., I'm an American Indian

For some reason people don't like the color of my skin
I was happy because people could love & cry for you
But yet sad because people don't love you
I shed a tear for you

I shed many tears for me
So you see, E.T., you made me happy
Even if for a short while as people may learn to love me
