Especially For You

Tunnel digging with warped minds We meet right at the centre Into the passages of rhyme Joining hands as we enter Through looking glass we travel Along the course of time Emotion spurred to ask you now To be my valentine Sand granules of placid hours Come together in song Knowing patience as a virtue But just won’t wait that long Pollen spores of beauty’s flower Peacefully remains Fairy dust with sleeping power Ripeness uncontained Butterflies and bumble bees Contagious with their needs Shall spread our loving humbly Content with free release In Winter we’ll remember In yearning as we ponder And curse the present absence That makes the heart grow fonder Squinting eyes from radiant face Emitting sunshine smiles Happiness entwined with grace And rainbow toasted guile Marshmallows and candy floss On flowerbeds of clouds Gentle dreams with stars embossed And candy coated shrouds
