Contest: Dovetailing two forms

I questioned God and asked Him why I could not hear any reply Then sudden light - no voice, no sound A veil slipped away - TRUTH I found all was for the best whatever happens, He's there In God, I can rest

An epiphany can come with a blinding flash of light, or just quietly sneak up almost unnoticed. You have described it perfectly, in two ways, both offering the same wonderful message. Truly the best on show so it goes on my favorite list.

Yes, and I love one thing I read. Perhaps, when you are not experiencing Him, He is so close!

A sweet poem affirming that behind the veil, our Lord is there. If we call out to him, he will lift the veil and come out to help us. One can always seek and find refuge in God.

Joanna, your moving, uplifting poem reminds the reader of a lovely Biblical truth--HE IS THERE. Janice
