Notes About The Poem
Poem inspired by Angela Demaria.

Epiphany

I seek your attention as I sit at your feet
Like a puppy awaiting a treat.
I close my eyes as you stroke my hair;
A gentle touch to show you care.

You're seated by the phone on the wall.
From your perspective I must look small.
I press my head against your knee
And let your love wash over me.

I'd lost my way and you just knew
That day my soul reached out to you.
You took my hand and healed my soul,
Saved my life and made me whole.

Now I'm safe within your space
And, when I look upon your face,
I see a presence that has me awed:
Angel of Mary, Mother of God.
