Epilogue
We will never talk again,
All is said and done,
All there is the shrine of shamelessly shining pain,
Oh here we go again and I have begun!
We will never talk again,
But in my memory there is a stain
Of us
Telling me to never shut up about you
Even in pain,
The fading memory of you and me that never really happened,
I see us,
Us sitting in a lavender field,
Me playing with your velvety hair,
You, staring into the universe of my eyes,
I see us,
Us waltzing in my dreams into the nocturnal reverie,
I see us,
Your pretentious promises,
Your innocent little smile and lines around your eyes,
Your eyes telling me and teaching me love,
I see us,
Maybe in another lifetime,
Oh another lifetime,
To wait for it is death and to hope for it is life,
And I see us,
Holding hands and walking down the sunsets.
