Ephemeral Kisses
All bubbles burst.
Shiny surfaces streaked in oily rainbow lakes.
Ephemeral winds that shift the dust of the earth.
Sand dunes ever-changing.
Lightly kissed lips. The feel of a fleshy palm holding on.
The wave that formed, crashed and will never be seen again.
All clouds float away.
Ephemeral kisses that disappear, but in memory, remain.
Your imprint on the wet sand. Water seeps in.
Thousands of paper sheets shredded. Strips of characters.
Scattered ashes. Ephemeral sad smiles.
The daisy-chain of small flowers that wilt, die, decay.
