Notes About The Poem

Entrapment

we both knew
you had me
at first glance.
weak in an instant
was I,
then...
I collapsed
and shattered
into you.
Irresistible charms galore
ooze out your pores,
glowing thousands of lumens
in your eyes.
They gazed into mine,
trapped, I saw
no escape.
I knew,
we both did,
that you had
me.
