Entranced
“Entranced”
Without the partner
where’s the dance?
Invisible
circling the room
considering the cool
insubstantive Shallows
sizing minds,
blood coursing
through veins
fluttering hearts and feet
outside the edge
the true dance
watches pulses marking time
like metronomes
It waits in the deep
eventually instinct
cuts to the
chase
for now it remains
fixated on you
it's hungry for
entranced
