Ensnared and Stuck

If my demise dawns like this
In penury and suffering
I surely will not rest in peace
But in ceaseless wondering
Of soul in ghostly endevor.

Why die a regular death
Remembered when fogotten
For when i had ample breath
They spit on me like meat rotten.

Why hide me behind my doors
Hide me from invisible scourge
Suffocating my soul in closing walls
Detering my roam of courage
With a mere decree of "don'ts"

Now i shudder when i see the law
It kills me more than cats demise
A coward am i? I dont know.
But i will go down with a rise
I wont die a death of a mice
Ensnared and stuck.
