Sandra Haight Poet Couplet

Enough of Me

When I begin to look at life
As nothing but an endless strife

When the power of faith and hope
Fail to help me strive and cope

When I lay down my dreams to rest
And so give up their mighty quest

When love's warm embers cease to burn
And make my heart an icy urn

When from the grace of God I flee...
Then life has had enough of me.
